On a personal note, I have been a resident of Reading since 1973 along with my husband. I have three daughters and seven grandchildren, all of whom live in Reading. I am an active member of my community and feel strongly about the importance of giving back, and I have tried to instill these beliefs in my children. I have worn many hats while living and working in the Reading community, from PTO President to softball coach. I co-founded Creative Arts for Kids, Newcomers & Neighbors Club, and the High School Band Parents Organization. Since 1989, I have been a Reading Rotarian, and I have been a member of the board for over twenty-two years. I also served as the president of the Rotary board. In the past, I served as president of the Women’s Council of Realtors, and I was named their Woman-of-the-Year. I was also named Woman-of-the-Year by the Reading Business and Professional Woman and by the state of Massachusetts. I was recently honored with a lifetime achievement award from the Eastern Middlesex Association of Realtors.
